Jocelyn Tompkins, RSW

Jocelyn Tompkins

I hold a Bachelor of Social Work degree from St. Thomas University, and am a registered social worker through the NBASW.  I provide in person and virtual counselling services to youth and adults for the greater Fredericton area.  I offer virtual sessions so counselling can be done from the comfort of your home, and is more accessible to those who may not be able to travel.

I use an eclectic approach with my clients to create a therapeutic, safe and collaborative setting. I also draw upon a strengths-based, solution-focused holistic approach by meeting clients where they are and in helping them work toward where they want to be.

I am passionate about self-determination and empowerment, working with victims of domestic violence, healthy relationships, anxiety and transitions in parenthood.  I have 15 years of social work-related experience working with women and children who have experienced adversities and trauma.  I look forward to meeting you and helping you in your mental health journey.
